David York

David York is West Region President and Managing Partner of Intrepidus Talent Solutions. With offices in Melbourne, FL and Los Angeles, CA, Intrepidus Talent Solutions is founded on our passion for talent – the engine that drives any successful company. Combining this passion with our industry knowledge, we partner with our clients to develop custom talent solutions that meet your most challenging requirements. David specializes in assignments across multiple industries with functional expertise in Technology, Finance & Accounting, Project Management, Operations/Supply Chain and Human Resources.

Prior to founding Intrepidus Talent Solutions, David spent over 25 years in a variety of industries as a Talent Acquisition and Human Resources leader. Most recently David was a Global Talent Acquisition leader at Amazon in their Advertising vertical leading a team of 56 primarily focused on hiring Software Development Engineers, Software Development Managers, Technical Project Managers, Product Managers and Business Intelligence Engineers

Before joining Amazon, David was the Global Head of Talent Acquisition for Creative Artists Agency, a full-service talent agency representing “A list” celebrities, athletes, musicians and brands.

He led all aspects of the Talent Acquisition function (executive, experienced and campus recruiting) for agency departments and was a key member of the Human Resources leadership team.

Previously, David served as Director of Talent Acquisition at Northrop Grumman (Fortune 150 Aerospace and Defense) where he led TA operations, contract labor and university recruiting for Aerospace Systems; and PwC (Big 4 Professional Services firm) where he led experienced and campus recruiting for the Pacific Southwest.

David earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA in business economics and master’s degree from the University of San Francisco in human resources and organization development. He also earned his Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace certificate from the University of South Florida.

David is a member of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce where he regularly attends events to grow the business and be a resource for others. He lives in Santa Clarita (Los Angeles) with his wife Heather and two children, Abigail and Braden.
